Sucker for punishment???dubbed_up_daz wrote: ↑Tue Aug 27, 2019 11:11 amHi all. The long lay up was more to do with being flat out at work, too many other projects(vehicular and property)and the addition of our wee boy(16 months old now). Made an effort to get it out my unit for my mates wedding last September which involved a mild makeover with bilstein b16s and D3 final editions. It also gave me the nudge I needed to get my finger out and get the ceramics I had bought fitted. First I bought a twin caliper rear set up to suit then investigated adaptors to work with my parts. That turned into another riot after a bad experience with a german brake specialist. Many months after payment I finally received the adaptors and would trial fit everything. This at least went well and the calipers are now away for refurbishment.
More updates will probably be slow. We've another baby on the way and a house purchase incoming.

Re: RS 51X CS,daytona avant
I suppose it does a bit but it was already hectic. Managed to finish my mk1 golf track car project(the mk1 golf race car project is on hiatus), the audi 80cab is nearly finished(pending paint), the mk1 jetta coupe has gathered even more parts(interior and r32 engine)and is awaiting engine trial fitting before paint), my mk3 daily variant has been through several trials and looks and my wheel collection is almost up to 60 sets so regular family life aside it's been a touch manic hence why the 6 has been kinda forgotten about. I've been receiving plenty updates from the brake refurbishers though so hopefully get them back soon and on
