Well - that's two I killed!!
Re: Well - that's two I killed!!
A true gentleman you are dave Thank you very much mate, and sorry about what them idiots done, and the car truly is a beast, you’ve spent alot of money and time on the car, and about the tax I have trade plates,
Re: Well - that's two I killed!!
Probably the CD player is using the xcarlink as the source. If you press the mode button several times to cycle through FM, TV and back to CD you should be on the CD player.Daveperc wrote: ↑Sun Jun 24, 2018 4:57 pmAnd I'm surprised the CD player isn't working (though I rarely used it), but under the armrest you should find the lead to plug in an iPod via the x-car link. Scroll through the source menu a couple of times - the unit alternates (on CD) between the CD player and the x-car link.

Cant get it to work
Re: Well - that's two I killed!!
Did you load some into the CD changer in the boot? If you try to put some in the head unit it won't work. The head unit doesn't play audio CDs. It's just for the NAV disks.

Re: Well - that's two I killed!!
First make sure you have loaded all six slots of the CD player in the boot - once or twice it has just ignored one CD in there. Then, as Shop says, cycle trough TV, FM and CD - on one cycle it should read the x-car link and on the next it should pick up the CD changer.Cant get it to work
If that still doesn't work have a poke around the CD player - the "gang" may have been poking around in there to see if they could find the Tracker (it does have one and it's still working

If none of that works then buy an iPod!!
Happy motoring!!
Dave

This has been so brilliant to follow, out of a country of 60 million you managed to keep tabs on it! Still one of the best forums to be part of.
Dave you are a good bastard not sure many people would have been as gracious as you have.

Guys - you are all too kind
There are only two things in my life more important than my car - my faith and my wife! Both have been key to keeping all this in proportion - so the praise should really be for them!
Take care out there!
Dave

Re: Well - that's two I killed!!
Well I'm an atheist so I'll just praise your wife.
No matter where you go, there you are.
Re: Well - that's two I killed!!
Another reason us atheists should envy those who find comfort in religion I guess...
Re: Well - that's two I killed!!
Seems Mr Humza is selling it on after all - back on FB https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... ?ref=br_rs
Price seems to be what I thought he got it from the auction at, so it must have been lower - slimmer margins for all!!
Hope it goes to a good home soon!!
Dave
PS - nice set of pics with the ad - someone has cleaned the wheels (and also disposed of most of the documentation - plonkers)!!
