275's are a popular upsize as long as the profile is reduced from 35 to 30. As luck would have it, I''ve got a full set of four brand new MPSS in 275/30/19 I'll let go for a decent price if you are interested?

From what I have read, the PS4 is not a replacement for the MPSS. Therefore I've just put a set of MPSS on my car. The 275's were for the B7, but I've now sold that car (sadly)!

I'll wait for the reviews before moving from the Super Sport.

Anyone put the PS4 on yet?? Haven't used mine for a while and it is still on its winter wheels. Looked at changing them back on the weekend but only a couple of mm left on the old PS2's.
And would I need to grind off the old knobbly bits??
Thanks

PS4S. They are extremely good. Don't get the PS4.

The PS4S are so good that I just can't understand why anyone would choose anything else to put on a sports car. There are so few other components that make so much difference to the performance of a car that I just can't understand why people scrimp on tyres.

I took the M3 out yesterday for an awesome blast (embarrassed a Vantage V8 but that's another story) and the PS4S on the back just would not break grip. Even being a spaz and hard accelerating out of junctions, I could barely get the rear end to step out. It would always step out on the PSS that were previously on the rear.

In fact, they are so good that the PS2 on the front are now seriously letting the car down and I was being pushed into understeer situations by the PS4S. I'm going to have to get rid.

I know I sound like number one fanboy for Michelins, but they are properly, mind-bogglingly grippy. And hard wearing. It's not like they are ridiculously expensive either.

As far as tyre sizes go, 265/35 are closer to oem size than 275/30, yes they are larger than stock but the 275 are quite a bit smaller than stock in the rolling radius. I went with 265 and am very pleased with the fit, fills the arches nice and fit fine with the nub ground off on the front upright.

Hi,

Before I went for a set of MTM Bimoto's with 275/30/19 my C5 was Shod with Dunlop Sport Max GT XL 255/35/19 and I found them to be Grippy Wet or Dry.
