Another CD Changer problem...

Post by Talleyman » Tue Oct 18, 2016 8:14 pm

Evening, my changer is not being detected by the head unit (rns-d), the cartridge will not eject using the eject button and after a search on here, I have tried sliding a credit card underneath to try and release it which didn't work...anyone got any more ideas?

Wiring fault? The CD changer gets all its signals and power down the loom from the RNS, so it could be just a loose plug at either end.

I'd unplug the CD changer and check for voltages on the relevant pins on the plug from the RNS.

Cheers HP, I'll try that.
