Power steering problems

Post by thworks » Thu May 12, 2016 10:18 am

Any one had issues with there power steering, on mine i have had a whine for quite a while which turned into a lack of assistance on the steering. I had the front of the car last night and changed the pump and still have a lack of assistance and still whining. wondering if anyone has had a collapsed pipe or failed rack causing similar issues?
Cheers tom

Have you changed the fluid? What colour is it too? Double check the reservoir mesh filter isn't clogged too.

Also when refilling Jack the front up and turn it full lock to make sure there are no air locks

Fluid is new and green, cleaned filter and bled system on the ramp. Have to keep digging, maybe a collapsed pipe
Cheers
