It seems the comment in jest wasn't taken that way by Mrihateunit20/29/mrc.

Lets see if he's calmed down and removed his twisted thong.

GLAD THE CAR IS SORTED  , BUT IF YOU COME ON HERE ASKING FOR ADVICE, IT'S GIVEN FOR A REASON.
again.. utterly pointless comment.

Advising post event is not exactly relevant is it.
More over, again, ill refer you back to actual question that was asked..

but otherwise.. you keep on thinking its good advice suggesting a GARAGE when I asked for a transmission rebuilder, and doing so AFTER ive already sent the car away.. great advice. :bash:

Er, I mentioned Unit20 and MRC 1 day after you asked. If you're going to come on here, ask for advice and not even leave it a day for advice then you're a fooooooool. I mentioned these places cause they use GOOD transmission places.
Doesn't really bother me, you're the one who's having the issues.

Listen to Danny ^^^^^His name isn't actually Danny but we all call him that. He's spent mega money on cars at both of these places, travelling down from Scotland. He's done that for a reason!

Perhaps instead of "FON" rule number 1 should be - Go to Unit 20 or MRC.

Sounds like you've had a bad experience with Preston Transmissions, but Volks have looked after you well.
As a result of you sharing your experience, other forum users have a bit more info, when choosing where to go, or not to go for their repairs.
Hope you now have no further problems.
Best of luck.

And I drove all the way from Birmingham to Blackpool for reason too. Because Volks not only know the car, but also owned it, the service history is full of the work they've done previously. Take your idiotic comments elsewhere.

and NO, you suggested two places that I already knew about, and that DONT rebuild gearboxes.. which wasnt the question I asked. :knob:

Why not just take the knickers off? No wonder you're constantly stressed, I couldn't cope with wearing twisted knickers this long.
Who's the fool here? Me who suggested a company 30 mins drive from you who would have sorted your car first time round? Me who suggested another company closer than Volks, who would also have sorted your car first time round? Or you, the chump who took the car to Volks, not once but twice???
Now, I'll give you your standard response time to get your head straight.
I look forward to your response, or the news of your seizure. :biggrin3:

No surprise you haven't worked it out yet. One day you may also learn that MRC, Unit29 and Unit20 are better than Volks.

and you have of course used Volks personally to be able to make that statement...
