Re: VCDS Codes Advice please!!
Mmm, misfire cylinder 2, too rich bank 1... Maybe you've got a leaky injector. Or a faulty coil pack or plug not igniting the fuel.
I would check for boost leaks first, then maybe swap the MAFs bank 1 to 2 (though I don't think this is MAF related).
Then I would swap the bank 1 injectors with the bank 2 injectors.
Then the bank 1 coil packs with the bank 2.

Re: VCDS Codes Advice please!!
Arghhhh
All cleared down after battery disconnect and below is all that came back which are unrelated to the issue.
Going like a rocket ship with no flashing dash issues and no codes.
Business as usual I guess until lumpy tick over and low rev problems!

Re: VCDS Codes Advice please!!
Fan issue should be easy enough to fix. Did you check the fuses yet?

Re: VCDS Codes Advice please!!
Everything Swapped from Bank one to Bank two.
Lets see what happens now. I checked the fuses in behind and all ok. Haven't checked the normal ones yet. I believe I can spin up the fans in VCDS.
I don't think its a boost leak as its lumpy at tickover. I will know tomorrow if its a coil/maf or plug. I hope. If Cly 6 plays up its a coil. If 2 plays up its a plug.

*looks up* Eh? What's going on in here?Shoppinit wrote:You might have a hole in a boost pipe which is opening up under load, a bit like a sphincter (bam looks up expectantly), which is causing over-fuelling.
No matter where you go, there you are.
Re: VCDS Codes Advice please!!
Resurected from the dead post....
It was just a single coil on Cylinder 2. When I swapped it from one side to the other everything worked for 3 weeks and then Cylinder 6 started throwing up errors!!
New coil from GSF and it works but shows an excuse fault!! Genuine previously enjoyed one on its way.
I better look at the Cooling fan and module thing now. Can't see any fuses blown even the big one in the back. I guess it's go to the module and see if it's getting any power.
Where in VCDS can you power a fan to see if it works?
