That's a lot of work and effort you've put in for something that'll never been seen again once fitted! Is there any benefits other than visual to the coatings?

I wonder who the lucky guy/gal is (Daz?)

In the scheme of things that it takes to produce upgrade Motorsport turbochargers at this standard. It's just like the icing on the cake :thumbs:
Offers no performance gain just really done to finish of. To be honest coating of the parts is very little effort, only thing I can think off is coating will help hold off corrosion.

Look great, very much doubt you'll get the full 650 bhp with them though; fannymolds will put paid to that

Hi Shoppint,

No are not same as Amanda's but really was many years ago so cant remember exact spec and not same company as S4Player says.

Spec of these TTE units are, Genuine BW RS6 housings, K04 BW clipped exhaust turbines, BW 2283 billet compressors, CNC reprofiled compressor housings to a optimum gap, ported boost discharge pipes, ported exhaust throat before turbine, reinforced/uprated actuators, motorsport bearing system, Balanced at far higher standard over stock in multiple planes.

Weiß-sechs,

Yes really this car will not be tuned for power and as you say stock manis are so so restrictive (i've cut apart and inspected), more these units was chosen by unit20 for efficiency i.e. Good power/airmass and response at lower turbo shaft rpm.

Just out of interest what are the actuators rated at? I've got 1bar on my hybrids which is a bit OTT I thought, 0.7 to 0.8 bar would be more sensible

The problem is one of physical space.

Why, these are RS6 housings, right?

These will need an enlarged intake feed to flow rated power... but Grizz knows that. In fact there'd be a whole bunch of supporting mods to get these puppies barking with a bite to match. Can only assume these will be added to a recently repainted Daytona avant, given that Daz doesn't seem to cut corners, this could get tasty.

@Si - why only a coating on the cold-side?
No matter where you go, there you are.
