I agree a fund is defo needed,so go into ownership with ur eyes wide open! I bought my c5 in April last year with 63k on the clock and pretty much did 2k in at unit 20 after a healthcheck to get it up to scratch and then a further 500 for gearbox oil change and plugs. Just booked it in for April at unit 20 for cambelt service and a few other bits! At the end of the day ur running a 450bhp monster which puts a smile on your face every time you drive it!

I have a friend who works for Audi and another that's a good mechanic that said they could always look over the car for me.so that will help me out when deciding.
It's good to just get these little tips on what to look for and what people have paid to fix the faults,gives me an idea what to look at paying if I see a fault.
