After 14 months of completely trouble-free ownership I've sold the Beast and she's now up for sale with a dealer:

A great car, and perhaps one day I'll own another one. For now I'm in the troublesome Discovery 3 zone and have had more issues in 3 weeks than I ever had in 14 months of RS6 ownership!
But at least I can drag the trailer full of rare breed sheep and also let the children in with wellies on.
