I really would have thought the 205 was a lot lighter than the golf. There were a few golfs at AdI on the track yesterday, a couple of quick ones and also a learner driver
My mate daves 205 track car with all the glassfibre panels and plastic windows tipped the scales just under 800 kilos with the cage. A 1.1 mk1 (which this was) books at 790. He used cds instead of t45 for the cage but even at that I should be around 700 built with cage and fluids.

Dougie carried on with the service while I played with the suspension

new filters for everything

brake fluid was a disgrace and it got a full system flush

even though id raised it the boot was refilled with my junk and then I had to stick a full tank in so once again it looked like it was full of dead hookers and the wheels also sat too far in but items I know about and im addressing

Gave it a wash after resetting it and fitting 10mm spacers(for now)

Took it a run to help bed the brakes in,resettle the suspension and scrub the tyres in a bit
