I prefer the RS6 out of the 2. I would guess my setup, KW V3 set up, lowered and Hotchkiss ARBs would match the smaller RS4 on twisties, and the ease of a remap adding 50 bhp means the RS6 is quicker. Also more practical and much rarer.
I love the RS4, but for the price of them now, the RS6 is also hugely better VFM.
Only plus side for the RS4 s the manual option which makes it a proper drivers car, i miss double de clutching with the RS6, making setting up for corners etc a little more tricky.

Really? I thought the turn in and mid corner attitude would be way better on the B7 in the twisties. You'd be riding a wave of torque out of the corner in the C5 though, if you'd not overcooked it into an understeering mess.
I'm not discounting your statement, I'm just surprised. I reckon I could keep up with one but it'd take commitment, on the road.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Well the standard C5 in the post quoted above was very close to the RS4 in the twisties and the suspension upgrades would close any gap. The worst thing for me is the difficulty pre selecting gears and balancing the car into and out of a corner, meaning the biggest advantage for the RS4 is the manual, IMO.

yeah i was tempted buy a ST and ive already had a m3 SMG which i wasnt too keen on to be honest,i love my RS's.savings wise it has improved my situation as the 4 is worth more than the 6 so i have lost a massive chunk off the finance

mmmmmmmm,il let you know once i have had a good blast round the B roads when i get used to spooling the turbos hard out of a bend.6 certainly fees a lot bigger but the turbos make it feel quicker,4 feels a bit nimbler but once im used to the 6 i can give a good comparison.loved the auto box suprisingley, just being able to sit back and cruise was great, then hit the kick down and wollop.

Nice drive back from the dealership.its bloody rapid,it has been phase 1 mapped at unit20 so I'm guessing its a revo map and close to 500 bhp.certainly feels like it.loving the car already, gonna correct and detail it next week.

Don't think Grizz ever did Revo did he? More likely to be Custom Code or Viper.

it was mapped back in 2009,would that make it more likely to be custom code or viper?what power would it be pulling with those maps?
