Help for the newbie

Post by RsPog » Wed May 29, 2013 11:51 pm

Hi

I've been interested in buying an RS6 for about 6 months now and have read a lot of the posts on this forum as a guest during that time to try and gauge an idea of ownership.

Although there are lots of posts about maintenance costs etc they haven't put me off and I'm still interested!

One thing I've noticed is that you all seem to be able to spot things on pictures of the cars from miles away, eg whether the suspension has been changed. I've seen a couple of cars I might be interested in but don't know how to add a url for others to view. Can anyone help please?

Great site and a really good source of information for potential buyers.

Cheers

8th entry in the urban dictionary for Pog is
"Ugly female of the ugliest kind"

Could technically fulfil your criteria?

Sorry but if you don't like 2 cups, you def won't like man and 1 jar!! Just saying...

I've been looking for months now. All I can say is, know what you want and take your time if you can... The right one will come... Or change your requirements ;)

Good Luck :-)

Why does autotrader *still* leave people's postcodes in their URLs? Pog, if that's your postcode you might want to change your link.

Car looks good. Nothing obvious from the photos other than missing antenna, low hung left zorst and rear wiper that's not on straight (grrr).

Ad is completely unclear as to whether they will get the cambelt changed or not.

I would say that if the history is there then it might be worth a look.

Not sure how it has full Audi history if it just got back from an Indy specialist, but no doubt that's just some dealer's artistic licence.

Got RNS-E, too. And it's the best colour.

Thanks Shop.

The postcode thing was why I asked how to add a link but I couldn't be bothered to explain, hence it's not mine, but thanks for the heads up.

I'll check out the history and take a better look at the zorst.

Then i just need to ask everything thats in el ringo's buyers guide ie DRC, suspension etc and I might get myself sorted!

Cheers

Haha. "This 440hp Audi Rs6 is completely standard". Other than the Miltek Exhausts, H&R suspension and bizarre silver antenna. Think he knows much about RS6s? Dumbass.

No photos of the interior.
