Secondary air pump

Hi all, need some help. After changing the Secondary air pump, does the car need to be reset with Vagcom to take of engine management light.

If you've fixed the problem, it'll eventually go off. Eventually.

It's only FIVE POUNDS for an ebay special blue KKL cable and VCDS Lite is the mighty sum of ZERO POUNDS!

Sure, no probs. I use something very similar to this with much success:

Ignore any driver CD you get with it and use these drivers direct from FTDI:

I have a pretty comprehensive array of diagnostic tools & my trusty cheap blue kkl cable is the one i turn to most.
