My parts have all been machined, mate sent me a photo 15 minutes ago! If you're going to order the ATE Racing Blue fluid, Euro Car Parts is the cheapest by far and also do free delivery, use the other forum discount code for 25% off the price on top.

Not fussed about saving a few pennies on the fluid buddy but thanks, less than a drop in the ocean with this thing. What parts are you talking about, spacers or something?

I didn't think you would be, however, if you're going to order it anyway, you might as well save yourself £30 - which is what the difference was between ECP and the next cheapest supplier when I last checked. As you know, I've had to use a bit of shrewdness because of taking unpaid leave, otherwise I would have done it your way, but I reckon mine will be just as good and cost less than a 1/4 a quarter of what yours will - important to me at this time.
I've had my caliper spacers all engineered for me, it is a tried and tested method from a member on here, so I am confident it will work. Hope you're as excited as I am. Have you thought about putting your old brakes on the Cupra?

Will have to look up the caliper spacer thing you are on about as unless you are talking about swapping out the entire bracket that bolts in to the caliper, with a bracket that recesses the caliper closer back in to the car, thus negating the need for the spacer behind the C6 disc, then it doesn't make any sense to me. Doing some work atm so can't go trolling but if anyone can link me to some half decent info on this I would appreciate it as this does have me wondering........

Not sure I want to wish the current calipers on my worst enemy, let alone the car that I prefer to mine for point to point speed! If I can get a refurb done cheaply enough and it isn't a ludicrous amount of work to do (highly likely) then perhaps for a bit of fun but....

A spacer is still required behind the hub or disc bell, ne? Otherwise the C6 disc bell will foul. A custom hat/carrier/bell is the best way forward, IMO.
