Can't fit in a Caterham or westy. I've tried.

I like the idea of the S2, but I'm conscious that 1) it's a bit heavy and 2) I might not want to rebuild it after every track day. :)

This is the problem with heavy cars (or possibly the GY F1 Assy). This is on a B7 RS4 after the first session of the day on the track:

Sonny had those tyres on at the ring and didn't have problems so I believe
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.

Watching this with interest, thought about doing my bike test this year, but a track day car would be the better option

Surely that's not the asymmetrical tyre anyway?

Wonder if that would make a difference to the outer shoulder area?

According to the writing on the tyre wall, it is. These tyres were about 1000 miles old.

That's the asym 2. All the other tyres ok? Either way its not very good

Nope, he had no problems at all. I went on track with him, f000king AMAZING. Not sure how the ring taxi could top that. :notworthy:
