HI boys and Amanda, the time has come for the 6 to go. 2 years of ownership has been a dream but the fuel issue is fast bleeding me dry, as were only a tiny island MPG to cost is simply not working anymore. 90 miles from £40 of fuel and no speeding in that (so about 13-14 mpg), tops 50 mph it's just not worth it anymore. It's been relatively painless for me i'm happy to say, a rear window switch, brake light switch and oh yes the good old gearbox is all that went wrong, yes other costs of brakes and servicing but i knew about those before purchasing. luckily all work done was under Audi warranty incl Gearbox. The advice form this site has been amazing so thanks. I know i haven't chipped in with any advice but thats because i don't know diddly. I have always wanted one so now it's been check off the list. It's been chopped in at a dealer for a 08 Golf Gti edition 30, yes it's a go-cart but the few days i had it for a test drive 34mpg was to die for. So thanks again. Sean.

HI golf yes thats the plan in the future, need to do some cosmetic stuff first after being spoilt with the luxuries that come with the 6, need an armrest at least. D_k NOOOOOOO DSG i haven't got any faith in any sort of auto, tip style gear box any more, i need a stick with numbers and one letter.
