Only had to look for about three weeks, went for the first low mileage grey avant with a new gear box just fitted. So quite lucky really.

Yep, you can even get yourself a matching red one. Don't sell the Beemer though. Sell one of your three UR quattros if you have to, yeah, I said it.

The way they handle, oh my lord. It is unreal the balance and poise is sublime. Common, yes, but brilliant too.

About a month. I bought the first one I looked at, bought it off a forum member though and It had been previously owned by another forum member before that.
I'll have a 2003 Daytona avant for sale very soon, it's very well known, used to belong to Cornishmoucher

Well, I went to see another today and although the bodywork was excellent the overall car (and garage selling it) didn't fill me with confidence so I walked away. It's the one from sascron on PH and AT.

1 leaking intercooler, sketchy service history, 2 dodgy tyres, 4 curbed wheels, needs new front discs and the garage were reluctant for me to take it for a test drive. Nice car, needs a bit of work but no from me. That's atleast £2k of parts alone and I don't think they'd knock that off the asking price

Hi

well completely different way of buying for me had sold my Range Rover Diesel and took a BMW 330i e46 saloon in part exchange very nice car but never did it for me and still had a need for an estate type car, saw a local advert for a c5 avant and kept going back to it online for a few weeks but never bothered to contact the seller.

One sunday decided to contact and found out i new the person and to cut a long story short he wanted a quick sail and took my BMW in a part exchang, got a good deal and havent looked back since just had the gearbox remapped by Rich at viper tuning on an exchange unit deal so no down time and now it changes gear properly it's a fun weekend and off island get away toy.

good luck with your search.

Tony
