Paul, can I ask if you had to change bulbs etc? Do you have to buy anything on top of the ebay link (my german is no great)

Also are there any warnings that come up on Vagcom etc that need reset or altered?

Thanks

I have some fitted with slightly different bulb settings, the LED's will outlast the vehicle, you'll never eed to change them, they won't fail. Ebay is the place around £250 from Germany posted... Heres the ones I got:

Hees a link to a huge selection:

Good luck

Paul, do you recall the seller on ebay? Unfortunately the link no longer connects to the right page...

your RS6 is absolute hardcore and should be cencored for 'flashing it'

Love the LEDs, been waiting 2 years to see then release direct replacements

Why doesnt anyone like the smoked version?

Thanks Steve. I was trying to work out if they were the same as the units on the original post which looked awesome... I'll take another look at the recent post as you suggest.

I ordered some of these recently and they were on the car about 2 minutes before I took them off and sent them back!! IMHO they are dangerous, the LEDS are not bright enough in daylight to show up the brake lights let alone the side lights. The problem with them is that the LEDS are not strong enough to show in daylight and they do not face directly rear of the car, they are angled slightly outwards. At night they do show up a little better but not anywhere close to the brightness you would expect. If you look at the pictures of the car earlier in the thread none of them are from directly behind the car.

I do think that they look better than the standard lights when the car is at a standstill but they are not bright enough to stop someone rear-ending you as they didn't see the brake lights. For mine and my familys safety for once I put function over form!!

You can replace the leds with brighter ones from autobulbs or ultraleds..yes its more expense; but its an idea??
