Total Confusion (Entertainment System)??
RE: Total Confusion (Entertainment System)??
nice to have the option though, just in case!
Have you got the rear screens sunk into the headrests or strapped on?

Ok, looks like I`ve found a pair of replacement black "leatherette" headrests with 7" monitors built into them and Kenwood do a stand alone single disk player with AV output (x1)
Even with the kuftek adaptor, how would I get a signal to both monitors? Or is that where the cufftek adaptor comes in?

RE: Total Confusion (Entertainment System)??
The monitors will have an AV input and your DVD player will have AV output. You'll have to route cables from the DVD player to your monitors. If you want video on the RNS-D then you'll use the Kufatec adapter and run a cable from your DVD player to your TV tuner (where the Kufactec will be connected). You might need an AV splitter if your DVD player only has one AV output.

do a bluetooth device search whilst sat in your car, my phone paired with a previously unseen bluetooth system. i'd had the car a year before i realised it was already fitted!
i was well impressed! my phone is a sony erricson and the device found was a nokia ck-7w and it works perfectly.
best of luck.

You're lucky. I found a bluetooth thing in mine, but nothing comes up when I search. Plus it seems to be the only bloody electronic kit to be completely unknown to the internet.

Re: RE: Total Confusion (Entertainment System)??
I was going to order this but at the end its says something about TV tuner cables. Do I need them as well?
RE: Re: RE: Total Confusion (Entertainment System)??
No, you already have the TV tuner cable connected to your TV tuner. This connector comes apart and you slide the kufatec bit in.
Some people retrofit tuners and that last paragraph refers to those who don't aleady have the tuner cable.

RE: Re: RE: Total Confusion (Entertainment System)??
I just ordered the bit that the link took me to. Hopefully that is all I need.
I`m still at work at the mo so will check on Tuesday but I still dont quite know what I`m looking for!
I guess I`m starting to paint a picture of complete ineptitude when it comes to car electrics!

This is the best way to learn! When I got mine there was so much that was new to me. Seems easy now though. Just ask!

Plus, like you I was away for the month after I got the car, so I was trying to figure stuff out without having the car in front of me.
