This has probably been covered on multiple posts previously but having searched I could not find anything conclusive. I am looking to buy a '04 6 or 6+ with sub-30k miles and I wanted to know what servicing needs to be done at the c.4 year mark. I think Audi recommend the cambelt gets changed every 4 years regardless of miles, is there anything else that needs to be done at 4 years (bearing in mind the car will be low-mileage).
Thanks for any thoughts.
Servicing requirements
RE: Servicing requirements
I think you'll be wincing everytime the car makes the slightest unusual noise if you don't get the cambelt changed now that there's a possibility it's recommended ... I know I did - my car has had an engine rebuild, so probably didn't need the cambelt when the odometer read 40k since the engine has done less than that.
if you do:
- get all the belts done at the same time
- full cambelt + thermostat and water pump
- gearbox oil change
Use a specialist, who can check over the car at the same time (ie DRC, full engine diagnostics)

Thanks, I have just organised the cambelt service with Camberley and they are doing cam + aux belt and tensioners and water pump. Useful to know what to ask for though - thanks for checking.

I've checked receipts, I had a line for "aux belt and tensioner", and lines for the cambelt, water pump and thermostat.
