thought as much. Wouldn't say mine was leaking as such, it got chopped with a pair of pliers so it has no use whatsoever. lol!! Stuck in limp-mode now so any improvment on performance is a bonus. Good thing i'm only paying for the upgraded portion of the repair costs.

It happened to my Dv's when having a service- the plastic gets brittle due to heat and then it only takes a tap to snap them. I have had no problem with the forge DVs. They look the muts too!
It's all Bollox.

Audi DVs = Diverter Valves (aka recirculation valves) not Dump Valves. ;-)
recirculation valves put the extra boost pressure back to the turbine so all that boost is not wasted. result =less lag. dump valves vent to the atmosphere with a loud fart which causes an erection in all 15 year olds within 100metres...

Just had mine done by the Grizz , I am sure we went for the Forge DV's ? ,
I can make my own whooshing noises if needed :shock:

stock or 710N DVs for RS6s - it is an auto, so no vacuum on WOT gearchange so the DVs have to open/close faster than the metal piston type. The metal ones need serviced every 6 months so they don't start sticking.
