Audi DRC offer. Advice reqd

Post by caleyboy » Wed Jan 28, 2009 11:15 pm

Have had a long running problem with DRC. Done by Audi in April 2008 Car did 1250 mile. August system fails again. Audi say its a burst pipe. They replace and repressurise. Doesnt work. New system required. Another £3k+. Decided Hr from Grizz. I get the dampers and valves back to Audi and they have offered £1000 compensation. They dont have the burst pipe so question is do I accept or go for the full amount ? Your advice please......... BTW This offer came from Germany.

Please ask Audi in Germany why they are not fixing your car per the new system that will be introduced to the USA in the coming months.

Audi is also paying for all repairs to each and every RS6 on US soil.

Complete new design and replacement of all components.

To be fair, I'd be chuffed if I could engineer your very situation. I'd love to be able to dump my DRC at a cost of £300 or so.

Given the current climate, they might be regretting that gesture, and might well be reluctant to extend it to Europe.

It depends mate. Is this the 'final offer' after lots of correspondence, or is this merely the starting bid? If the latter .. I'd be inclined to press for more ;)
