RS6 Oil temperature

Post by js » Wed Apr 30, 2008 10:17 am

Can someone tell me from experience what range the oil temperature dial should read?

I've just bought an RS6 last week and everything seems perfect, but the oil temperature dial doesn't seem to move up much about 80 or 90.

Is this normal? Its going in for a service next week anyway but thought i'd better check!

Cheers for any insight.

That's ok. If you push it hard it will go up to 100-120.

puff! welcome to the forum, o and turn the traction control off! You can pull alot more speed round the bends! Just dont push it to hard if there are tree's winking at you  These cars are on rails when you learn where the limits are. I think the traction control comes in much to early tho.
