New RS6 Avant v Current RS6 Avant - £80k v £30k

Im at a real loss !!

Will the new RS6 be good enough to justify the £50k diference in RS6 Ownerships ??

Has anyone put an order in ?

Will these command a premium like th R8 has ?

Im thinking to return to my 2nd RS6 Avant but do i go deep or pick up a well loved 3yr old model circa £30k ??

Id much rather be having this conversation with you lot rather than some eager Audi salesman if you know what i mean !!

I am lead to believe that I have the No.1 slot in the UK RS6 queue at present (according to the chap at Crawley Audi), as I placed my paid deposit in 2005. I have been contacted to keep me updated and I am now faced with a decision as to what to do (or realistically, can I afford it!). Having only just taken delivery of a beautiful RS6+ with only 24,000 on it, I am not entirely in the frame of mind to move on.

Does anyone have advice as to what best to do with this (potentially) prestigious build slot for the first customer car in the UK?

I've got the No.1 slot at Preston Audi, however i'm not interested in an Avant, so moved my position across to a Saloon as until earlier this year no-one whether the Saloon or Avant would be launched 1st. Bit pissed off i'll now not get one of the very 1st RS6's, just the 1st of the Saloons.

I think the new RS6 Avant will command a premium (not a large premium) for the 1st few months, but this is only likely to last until the 2nd wave of deliveries arrive & no idea whether the same will happen to the Saloon. I'm just hoping the Saloon is quite a bit lighter than the Avant, as it's suggested the Avant will be well over 2Tons.
