The C32 is a great car, but should be compared more with S4 / RS 4.

I think all they have to worry about are cars like the RUF Turbo R, Ferrari 360 perhaps as the 550/575 are a lot more expensive. It's true though, the SL55 is some beast, and it really is hard to find something to compete with it.

yes i agree, its one nice motorcar....... but it lacks the german horse...... (porsche) history, quality and engineering...... merc`s are for old men who just buy them to prove a point...... the only reason they made the e55 with abit more bhp than the RS6 was the snatch the glory for the fastest production car etc etc..... so when porsche announced that the Carrera GT was having 612bhp merc go and build a CL65 AMG with 620bhp and 1000nm [img]images/graemlins/jawdrop.gif[/img] like i said they make cars just to prove points these days...... their lastest project is a V6 compressor a-class A32K......... they plan only to build 10 and the work is undertaken by the motorsport devision who made the CLK-GTR..... guess how much they want for this A32K a-class amg £250,000 feck! I suggest meeting the said AMG on the road.... I'm sure you'll destroy it on the road. I've met most of the AMG's on the open roads here in Japan and there's no competition. They back off pretty quick. AMG are notorious for 'extra' tuning their road cars for magazine tests too.
