Afternoon all,
Been browsing this forum for some time now, eagerly antipicating the purchase of a B7 RS4 Avant within the next 4 weeks. Been quietly gathering the funds required, and having been a 350z owner and E46 M3 (although diesel golf for the last 3 years) I'm looking forward to get back to owning a car that I'll actually WANT to keep clean!
Will be keeping an eye on classifieds and no doubt asking advice in due course.

Just read the posting rules and now understand the whole
FON thing - and i wasn't shouting the word want either!
AdrianD, seen the photos from your trip to MRC - don't have as many comments to make on them, other than Sprint Blue is growing on me! Been thinking Daytona but opinion is changing. Like the black also. Decisions decisions.
It's strange how i've always been very against any sort of modifications to the cars i've had as i've wanted to keep them as they were meant to be and original. But having seen/heard some of the
YouTube Milltek clips, it seems that that's one thing that has to be done!
My other half is sick of me looking on AT, here and pistonheads already - could be a tough time ahead.

Milly is an easy swop if you want to put it back to standard.
But then why would you.......

Useful to know. Initially my thinking was that it'll sound awesome regardless, and one thing I don't want is to see people looking at me with a Saxo VTR shake of the head as I drive past! But from what I've heard with my own ears it's a noise that means the drivers window will be permanently half down. Especially through tunnels. If I can find any in Somerset.

Mugello is a old mans colour so avoid that one
Your right about the Milltek, if you do buy one its worth splashing out the extra on a valved system as this will retain the valves working in the exhaust when the ~S~ button is pressed.
Welcome to the club and happy hunting.

If the mileage and history are right within my price bracket, not too fussed about the colour. Definitely not a deal breaker!
