Hi to everyone. Just found the site and joined, so to introduce us we are owners of a Sepang Blue R8 V10 Spyder, previously owners of a Black S5 Cabriolet. We are looking forward to Audi's in the park, and meeting up with everyone. We would love to get a group of R8's together, are there any meetings where owners tend to go? Any comments welcome. Great Site keep up the good work.

Would love to upgrade my V8 to a Sapang V10. Definately the best colour for a Spyder. Not sure where you are based but there were 4 or 5 R8's at the Malton Big Breakfeast yesterday, most of the members on here with R8's are in the south.

Many Thanks for the replies, we live in Bedfordshire, only to willing to chat and meet up, with other like minded folk.
We looked at just about every colour combination, also we had a coupe and spyder arranged for a test drive, and sat them side by side. That was the decider for the spyder, and driving a V8 and V10 there is no comparision (this will create some debate).
After 8 to 10 weeks of driving around the country, we found the right car, It works for us.
The only mod so far is Chome mirrors, which I ended up with a dealer fitting, after scanning the fitting instuctions (not for the faint hearted).
I will post some photos when I get round to taking a few decent shots.

Cannot think of any around Bedford, maybe Amptill Maulden Flitton or surrounding? Some lovely villages in south Beds - off that way tomorrow, dropping Sportback in for service with Hitchin and going out for lunch I think!

Meets wise, MK has been running for eight years now, first Weds of the month every month BST, next meet Weds 2nd May. Good turn out this month (last Weds) despite the weather being miserable!

Let dad pick the pub as he worked in Hitchin for years and knows the area well, he initially suggested the Green Man, Offley, Hitchin, but ended up going to the Crooked Chimney, Brocket Park, Welwyn, very nice
