B7 RS4 Phantom Black Owner says Hello Pics pg 2

Post by DavidRS4 » Tue Jan 24, 2012 10:39 pm

Thought I'd join being as I have put a deposit down on a B7 Phantom Black Audi RS4. I pick it up tomorrow morning :biggrin3:

Used to have a Series One Escort RS Turbo that was very heavily modified and had a front cover feature with Performance Ford magazine and features in other magazines. It ran over 300 bhp and was a beast, but I decided to grow up a few years ago and sold it in bits and bought property. Four years later and I decided to buy something sporty but more mature and refined. I am sure I have made the right choice.

It's got the MFSW, Carbon inserts, Sports Seats, CD Changer etc. Comes with 29k miles, Milteck exhaust etc.

Buying from a dealer too. Can't wait to pick it up as it drove beautifully :notworthy:

I have sourced a plate for it. RS04 OCD, so I had better keep it clean!

I have been reading the information on detailing on here as well as Detailingworld.com and a few others, spent a few quid buying snow foam lance and other cleaning equipment.

Looking forward to some good banter on here and even going to some of the meets or shows.

I'll post pics once I have got it

Thanks to everyone for all the topics on here that I have read and helped me source what I hope is a good one :kissmyrings:

Went for a saloon, did consider the Avant but stuck with the saloon in the end.

Sonny, I'm a chef! No I'm not fat or lazy etc. Been in 14 years, Sergeant for just over 4 years now. Were you posted in Bally Kelly with the Green Jackets?

I've taken two pictures, I'll post them up in a bit. Took a while to get back from Manchester and I was glad I didn't get car jacked as there has been a few lately! Doors were locked.

Terrible pictures, I know, I'll take some better ones once I have cleaned it on Friday :bigblink:

Couple of questions, the dealership said to only put normal unleaded in it, not Optimax or Super unleaded. Is this true as I was going to always put super in it

Do these cars use much oil in general?

Much appreciated

David

Momentum for me.

They burn a steady bit of oil but can't be exact as to how many litres I use per mile.

ALWAYS carry at least a litre top up bottle in your boot!
