Hello - new S4 owner

Hi all and what great site!
Picked up my B6 S4 avant tiptronic a month or so ago and love it. I test drove two manuals first and decided on the tiptronic because it seemed more docile in traffic and more relaxing on the motorway thanks to it's higher final drive. I was originally hoping to find a good B6 3.0 Q Avant but they all seemed a little tatty and had significant body repairs. I'm guessing the 3.0Qs were more likely to be used as a workhorse whereas the S4s are probably (hopefully) owned by enthusiasts who are happy to splash out. I live in Scotland, and think of the motor car as a great freedom rather than something to take for granted. Our congestion-free roads and amazing scenery make for rewarding motoring and the full-time 4WD means I don't need to plan for a nice day. Just throw the tent in the boot an go. I'm sure the S4 will be a great replacement for my 2.8Q.
Best wishes and happy motoring
