New RS4 Owner

Hi everyone. I'm just going to pick up my new RS4 B7 '06. Pretty excited at the prospect I can tell you. The only thing worrying me now is the DRC/shocks issue. I've just found out about this and will quiz the dealer about it before handing over my cash!

I'll let you know how things work out with the car in a few days.

Welcome to the site. I think it is unlikely that the dealer will either know or admit to knowing anything about the DRC issues. If you want the car buy it, and if the DRC becomes a pain replace it with an aftermarket kit. Life's too short sometimes.

Maybe even try to get a contract around something like "Full purchase price refund if the DRC is found to be defective by an independent authority within the first 6 months of ownership". Worth a punt!!
