Hi all,
Been the proud owner of a 2011 RS5 - Phantom Black - for one week exactly - bought on my 46th Birthday. OMG!!!
I absolutely adore it. It is an apex machine in my view, unlikely I could ever top it, nor actually want to. I used to be a Porsche wannabe but................those days are definitely gone.
My previous car was an Audi A7 - 3.0 Quattro - beeeeaaaauuttttiiffuullll! but............just lacking in the at little something special under the bonet. Loads of Torque, but it just flattened out - typical of a heavy car with a big Diesel engine.
I'm from the south - UK - originally, but after retiring from HM Forces (Army 26 yrs - PWRR) we've settled in Nottingham - kids, school, yadda yadda.
Very happy to contribute in meeting other people on meets or trackdays with these gloriously wonderful cars - the RS models are just something....a little bit special. Of that there is no doubt.
