Noob waiting for my Nogaro but ready for my FON

Hi everyone ,
I've been reading the topics forum for ages trying to decide whether to buy a C5 RS6 Avant or B6 RS4 Avant and I've found the guides and information invaluable .
On the basis of the potential maintenance costs of a 10yr old (plus) supercar and Audis current deals I finally took the plunge on 23rd December 2014 and bought a new RS4 . Following a near 90min test drive I walked back in the showroom and saw the Nogaro edition sitting there in the middle of the floor and decided that was the one for me . I even managed to keep the missus happy by getting a good deal on a pre facelift new Q3 .
I pick the car up on 30th Dec and can't wait to spend the day behind the wheel .
Dave

Congrats on the new purchase! Which dealership is that - one of the brand new build ones by the looks of it like Oxford

Thanks
Got it from Tunbridge Wells , they'd had it a week . They had a standard model and a LE but the colour and interior on this one was just too good to refuse - they did a deal too
A few more pics from the showroom
And I do love the rotors, bambam , I may try and swap

Nogaro plate in the classifieds would sit well!

This was my reckoning ; I've looked at a couple of 1 owner 03/04 plate RS6's with 60-70k on the clock for £12-14k, however reading the posts on this forum I would potentially have to budget for around £5k per year on initially getting everything right and then keeping it that way. Over 3 years that's £29k.
The Nogaro list was £67,170, but got it with Audi finance and dealer discount for £60,560. I put down £9k deposit and have to pay £599 over the next 3 years (£21,600) . Over 3 years that's just over £30k. I also got £5k off the Q3.
Now I know there's a few flaws in my reckoning , but it was good enough to convince me that it was the right thing to do and more importantly it made sense to the missus ...

After 3yrs that £30k is long gone.
You could have squeezed some more discount IMO, but as long as you are happy

HYFR , you're probably right , some of the internet companies were offering it for around £59k , but had a mate at work wait 9months for his RS6 from orange-wheels. It was from my local dealer and it was in the showroom and ive only had to wait a week (and that's only cos of xmas) so im happy with what I got .
pick her up tomorrow at 3pm ....
