Hello All

I'm new to the RS6, I've been looking at getting one for a very long time now and have now taken the plunge, bought a 2003 RS6 Advant with 89000 miles, I did the usual checks, DRC been replaced for coil overs and new gearbox about 20000 miles ago, only thing I could not find was a receipt for recent cam belt change, so got it booked into unit20 for this job.

Regards

Mike

Here are a few photos, I have a recept for the coilovers fitted in 2008 by AMD technic but not sure what ones they are until I have a look and see what colour the springs are, also from AMD Technic there's a recept for a remap, has anyone had one from this company and are they good etc?

The coilovers that's fitted are have yellow colour and I have a receipt saying "KW V3", as I'm new to the RS6 I don't know if this is good or no so good.

Feedback would be good

Mike

My C5 RS6
Hi Mike,

Congrats on your RS6 C5 Avant purchase and welcome to the fraternity!

I too have the same animal (a year younger on an 04 plate) in Avus Silver, and enjoy the POWER enormously. I got mine in the Summer of 2012 with just under 80K miles on the clock.
These cars need to be cared for and have spent £5K on it this year alone, but what the heck, it is so rewarding to drive! I shall be fitting my winter wheels and tyres before X'mas like last year.
This first gen car (same colour as mine) features in the film "Layer Cake" and stars Michael Gambon, Daniel Craig and Sienna Miller to name a few.
I also subscribe to Pistonheads and there is a meet at the Mercedes Benz World in Weybridge , Surrey (A3 off M25 jct 10) today (Sunday 9th November) so its off to bed for a bit of shut-eye.
Speak again soon.

Chris ("V8Head" on Pistonheads)
