Just joined, hoping to find some more C5 S6 owners on here. I've owned mine now for two years & I must say I've thoroughly enjoyed all two years of ownership in the exclusive
S/RS club.Not new to Audi or German cars, started quite young getting my first german car, a Mercedes 190e at around 20/21 years of age after driving my dads 190e, I was hooked. I've had a BMW E30 M3, Golf VR6, Mercedes SL320, BMW E32 740i which I kept for 7 years then got my first Audi an A4 1.9tdi 130. I must say it was a solid car to drive & was a an ex company car where my misses worked so grabbed it as it was a bargain. After a couple of months of ownership I knew I liked Audi but the A4 diesel was so boring & too small for me. I also had my 740i still sat on the drive but we would always end up in the A4 to nip to the shops, the 740i just wasn't getting used. It's then I realised I needed something that had the best of both worlds, we also had my newborn daughter to think about. Also living in a rural location 4wd was important too & the A4 wasn't the best in the snow we had so what was on the cards............an Audi 2.5 Tdi allroad. I loved my second Audi for all of 6 months until I killed it in a flooded ford
Although I was happy with the allroad, I found myself looking for remaps shortly atfter getting it so I knew the hunt was on for another Quattro estate with more power. Just as the insurance paid out I was looking for another Audi when I stumbled on a rare beast, an S6 with LPG fitted & it ticked all the boxes. It took all of 5mins to make the decision to buy it even though it was older than what I would have liked, I went & bought it & haven't look back since. 
Of all the cars I've owned which in addition to the cars above are three Volvos inc T5, Lexus, Land Rover, Saab Turbo, Jeep, Jaguar, performance Astras inc Turbo coupe & probably others I have forgot, the Audi S6 is my favourite one of the bunch. The only thing is I now find myself searching for more power, just a little bit more
Friends & family don't understand & think I'm mental, for them a 340bhp Quattro is more than enough but I'm hoping you guys on here will understand me! lol
