Hi RS World... new RS4 B7 Avant :)

Hi RS World

Just picked up a drop dead gorgeous black RS4 B7 Avant - something I've been dribbling over for the best part of 5 years. Bit of a big leap from a VW Golf MK4 TDI 150.

Reckon it could give my Duke748r a run for it's money. Hmmmmmm wonder who would handle better in corners

To the track batfink!!! Well, maybe I'll hold off till the summer - bit chilly out there at the mo

Have a dozen questions or so... maybe later.

Hey TCAT - I've just picked up a RS4 Black Avant today and have moved from a golf TDi (plus a a4 170bhp SLine) plus a 09 blade. These RS4's are just epic and I feel 18 again when driving mine - I keep wanting to go out to check its still there!

Sorry all, been totally slack lately. The black beauty has been covered in snow recently, now that all has thawed I'll be out in the morning for paparazzi treatment & then I'll upload some snaps.

In the Chelmsford region Scaghead!

Had a little blast to get zee rust of the disc yesterday... *huge grin*. Flippin' eck

Keeping my Golf TDi, much more nimble for getting down to the shops etc, however, anything greater than 10 miles or so, it's deffo in the RS4. I have no regrets whatsoever. Best seats I have ever sat in. Total snug, big + = a warm backside too

It's still feeling a somewhat new to me - found the CD multichanger and the recaro lumbar buttons recently. And I wish I hadn't found the sodding ski hatch... grrr..... 20 mins of my life that I'll never get back - lol.

Wondering if you can you get an iPod conversation in the glove / multichanger - or how would I know if I already have one? Need to take a torchlight to the glove. Similar question on how do I know if my RS4 has electric reclining mirrors, to avoid the wind mirror baseball event that happens down my road once every blue moon.

I've already asked the dealer if they can advise what additional extra's were added to the car from new - it's good to know... still pestering.
