Hey Sonny

Thanks for the compliment she is starting to get there finally :)
Are you also running an APR Supercharger? If so I would like to know what kind of power readings you got on a Dyno? Mine is still a work in progress and I will bring her back to VWPerformances start of June as my Dyno readings were quite low 530hp, even thought the car feels fast! I will bring the RS back to get the brakes(Tarox 16s) and upgraded clutch done etc so I hope to fix/check the low power output then.

If you do a search you'll find loads of supercharger info on here, there were many power claims made but the reality was very different.

Hey Guys

Just a quick update on my RS4.
I have been in discussions with Tarox in Italy regarding a Brake kit for the RS4 as they do not have one specifically made for the RS4(I spoke this morning with the man in charge of development at Tarox in Italy they want to design the kit in house for the RS4) so I will bring my RS to their Italian Factory the middle of June.
Plush Automotive in the UK have something along the same lines for sale but this is the answer I got from Tarox,
"Secondly the conversion you mention has been engineered but a UK company called Plush Performance (www.plush-automotive.co.uk) : they purchased the components of our kit for Porsche Cayenne and made the alloy bell and bracket. I ‘ve been told it works very well but it was not a Tarox conversion engineered by ourselves".

The brake kit that Tarox will supply me with will include:
2 x discs with alloy bells (outside diameter around 395-400mm)
2 x B400 RT 16 pistons caliper including 8 pads (4 for each caliper)
2 x bracket
2 x brake lines
Price 4550 euro (plush Automotive charges closer to 5620 euro)

Boobies!!! Are they French boobies? She don't look too impressed with hanging around while you burn some fuel. Nice sound though, how are the numbers?

Sorry to inform you but the APR only makes around 530 at most. Apr are renowned for talking <beep>. I've had this argument out with Arin previously. It will give you a nice kick though for sure!

Hey S4Player

Have you had an APR charger installed also? My car will go back on the 14th June and they will try and squeeze more hp out of it but you seem quite confident that this is not possible!!
The car does feel fast and I find it so much nicer to drive on a regular basis so I haven't got much to complain about. I do find it a little strange that they are advertising gains up to 593 and not delivering on that promise. I have not finished dealing with APR just yet and Anthony from VWPerformences (my Tuner) is also not happy with their claims so we will see in the next few weeks what can be done. I will let you know if there are any improvements with the power but I wont have an update for a few weeks as the RS will be in the garage from middle of June until early July (New Clutch,All new control arms, Tarox brake kit etc..)

Any information or graphs from APR installs would be nice to see, if you know of any please forward on the link.

Hey bambam

No they are not French Boobies :-) Good old Irish ones. Do any women ever look impressed while we are burning fuel :biggrin3: She cant say much she drives a 4.2 S4

The car goes back in the middle of this month so no numbers yet but I hope to put some good information up in early July.
Glad you like the sound of the exhaust but sometimes it can be a little too loud for the Swiss(random old dudes on the street shouting at me  ) in general it sounds nice, no drone but it does overpower the sound of the supercharger once over 4000rpm. I will add a few more driving videos this weekend hopefully so you can get a better idea of the sound with car under load.

Saw you had a nice test day out with Audi that must have been cool!

Take it easy

Hey Guys

Just a few new pictures of the ongoing work on the RS4. As you can see I went for the 12 Pot Calipers in the end (this is after lots of discussion between VW Performances and Tarox) and went for the red as I thought this might go well with the RS Badges/Engine cover.
Also decided to replace all the control arms with adjustable one's :)
I will put some pictures of the finished work in the next week or so

Sorry I think they look horrendous, what's the point in a 18 piston caliper or whatever they are?

Man, Horrendous is a little strong but your entitled to an opinion. And they are 12 Piston and this is first kit made by Tarox to fit within the stock 19 Inch rim(I thought that was reason enough). Also man open your eyes I thought the big number 12 written on them would give it away :) Thanks anyway for the comment :assflash:

Completely pointless imo and I'm browsing on my iPhone so couldn't see the '12' knob end. They done 18 piston callipers for luke at plush automotive
