Hey Guys

As you probably can tell by my post the RS4 is undergoing a lot of work at the moment but I have one question I need some help with!! I am looking to get a set of 19' Concave alloys has anyone any pictures? or can someone direct me to a good link or if anyone has any certain Brands names that come to mind. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. I have looked at lots sites but for some reason there doesn't seem to be many RS4 out there with Concave alloys.

Be different and get some ADV.1s made up (the ADV10DCs would be very rare as most Audi's plump for "mesh" style wheels). I'd recommend getting perfect fitment via their dealer in Germany, it'll save on import duties (they'll be made in the US but it'd be a ballache to manage the import).

http://www.adv1wheels.com/adv1wheels/wh ... DV10DC.php

These are ADV10DC (Deep Concaves). Note: you will not get a deep concave in the fronts due to callipers but the rears will get smashed in (oh errr!). It kind of gives a staggered look.

This is an RS4 with ADV10SL (not three-piece Deep Concaves), it gives you an idea of how the ADV10DC style would look on a B7... I think, very smart and different.

For the OEM-ish look it's gotta be the ADV1RS Quattro but they're V expensive... HOWEVER, these were made specifically for Audi (namely the RS5) so this design will give you the maxim concave you'll get from any wheel designer. Full stop. Take a look at the concave on the front of this B7... Also note that these wheels don't look staggered, it looks like a similar concave front and back. IMO, these are oversized but these would be custom made and fit so you could play with that.

Top two sets of wheels are lovely.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

Hey bam bam,guys

Thanks for the pictures and your opinion :-) I looks like that we are thinking along the same lines (I had found this picture online I removed the license plate so I hope the owner doesn't mind) but i think these wheels have a really nice look and add to the stance of the car. I am fairly sure that they are Vossen what do you think? Picture 1
I also like the look of the RS alloys like the second picture below, does anyone know if its possible to fit these to a B7?

As allways any input is appreciated

The top ones are Vossens, but again, I think that looks waaay too overwheeled. They almost look like 21", the problem with bigger wheels is a performance, ride and handling compromise. Also, those sizes give shitty tyre options (weight and speed ratings).
I'm not sure of the off-set on the B8 RS4 wheels but those wheels will be available in a billion sizes/off-sets soon, as history shows, pretty much all RS wheels will be offered to tart up oil-burning S-Line cars.

Hey bam bam

Thanks agin for your opinion, I understand the ride quality issue and I dont want to go as big but they have the right design and concave for me. I believe you are right about the B8 RS4 alloys, everybody will have them and thtas not what im looking for :bigblink:

I have seen these for sale and I quite like them but have not heard of the company so I am unsure about the quality, size ,fit etc but the style I kinda like.

Also these are quite nice, no idea of the maker

Top ones a Judds (obvs) and are cheap n' cheerful. The off-sets aren't great. Do you come over to the UK often? There's a few good wheel shops over here, you can drive in and have someone put a wheelstand next to your, then sit back with a beer while they swap styles for ya'.

Hey

I thought they were a little to cheap and as I said I had not heard of the maker thanks for the heads up. Its been a good few years since I have been to UK but that kinda of service is would be nice to have :notworthy:
I think a bit more research is needed bofore I purchase by the looks of things and I will now try and find out if a wheel service like that exists in Germany France or Switzerland (all within driving distance).
Any other suggestions on wheel brands to help my search ? I do like the ADV10DCs but I cant get a price on their web site any idea of the cost?
My god they have some beautiful wheels
Thanks again

ADV.1 aren't cheap budget 3200£ - 7200£, but, you're making a special car. They'd be a 'fitting' wheel... ne?

Hey Guys

It will have to wait a little longer for the quarter mile as I will get the clutch upgraded and don't want to push to hard until that has been installed. Also had an HMS exhaust fitted this weekend and man is it loud! but it has a nice deep sound lower in the rev range but once you pass 3850 rpm my god it sounds like a Nascar(too loud for some I would think). I had the car dyno tested by HMS and she peaked at 530 HP so I have been in contact with my APR contact here in France and he has passed the info to Keith the Director at APR and he is looking into why the figures are so low, its been suggested that they claim 593 so this will be interesting. I am not worried as so far the service from APR has been great lets see where this goes.
I will add a quick video of the dyno test but it was taken with my Blackberry which of course died just at the end but you get the idea , excuse the quality but my GoPro just would not work I was having a bad technical day( I will add the graph as soon as I receive it) This is just a taste I will have a better camera the next test, one that can handle the sound as you really don't get the effect but please have a look if you like
Image

I will also get a set of Upgraded Tarox Brakes, one of these kits but of course I am swaying towards the 16 Piston Calipers :)

Image

The price is 4550 euros for the complete kit with :
2 x discs with alloy bells (outside diameter around 395-400mm)
2 x B400 RT 16 pistons caliper including 8 pads (4 for each caliper)
2 x bracket
2 x brake lines

Cheaper option still not cheap!!! 3500 euro

Those Tarox 16s are fucken sexual, full stop. I fear there'll be a few comments regarding low power out of the APR, has it been mapped yet, if so, who by? MRC have a French arm, you could hardly do any worse than to get their opinion.
