Newbie in the South West

Post by oeTT » Sun Oct 30, 2016 12:24 pm

Thanks for adding me. I've just started the process of looking for a B7 RS4 avant. I'm coming across from a Mk1 V6 TT and am a sucker for a big V.
I always thought the high revving 4.2 V8 would have been incredible if they could have shoe horned it into the TT to make the MK1 TTRS that never was.
So the only way I'm going to get to play with one is in the RS4.
I will probably ask lots of stupid questions but hopefully not too many. My aim is to sell the TT early spring 2017 as I need the good weather to maximise the appeal of the roadster. In the 10 years I've had the TT I've found the forum and owners clubs invaluable. I'm sure this experience will be the same.
Cheers
Stewart

Modded, but you can't do much with them without deep pockets!

Well after a couple of weeks of head versus heart the head has won. I will be reigning back and going for a B8 facelift S4 avant instead of my dream B7 RS4 avant. I just couldn't convince the chancellor to spend £25k on a 10 year old car with so many potentially large bills to keep it sweet. Sad but all is not lost, an S4 and a trip to MRC is still a magical thing :)
