Post by Slapsider » Mon Nov 09, 2015 8:00 pm

Hi, new lad, heard good things about this forum and decided to join, my car is an unusual one, it's a b6 avant with a b5 s4 motor and plenty of supporting mods, still on ko3's with map but that's soon to change I'm looking for b5 rs4 engine parts if you know anyone who may help?

Love it!

What plans do you have power wise, the sweet spot for me is around 450-500hp on these engines which is easily achievable on the S4 lump.

If you want more than 500-550hp the RS4 lump will get you there but sacrificing drivability and reliability. Either way it will be a quick car and a cracking sleeper. :thumb:

What made you put the B5 engine in? Is it driving all four wheels or just the fronts?

It's a quattro, and it was a 1.8t today start off with, the 2.7 delivers loads of torque which I wanted and it's a very tunable motor

I'm aiming for the 500hp but keep a good spool and torque curve
