Hi All

New member based in North London area.

Been keen on the B7 RS4 for ages as one of my good friends has run one for a while. The impending arrival of a family gives me the perfect excuse to get one as, sadly, the current two seater has to go

I've been looking at the forum and have to say its a great resource for people like me starting the quest to find a decent Avant. So thanks. :beer chug:

A newbie question - is there a significant difference in ride between regular and super sport suspension? Also, as it sounds like the SS is different springs and roll bars, is it possible to easily mod a supersport setup to normal (or vice versa)? Living in speed bump heaven that is london, I don't want anything to crashy.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum man and FON!!!!!

I've got SS Suspension + on my Breadvan and i think it sits about 20mm lower than the standard sports suspension, I've never had any hassle with regards to speed bumps, but I do roll over them at a snails pace just to be sure!

I wouldn't expect you'll have any issues if the car is running SS + just go canny over the bumps.
