New RS$ B7 Owner

Post by mr sagman » Mon Jan 19, 2015 1:17 am

Hi Guys,
Just recently purchased a gorgeous red B7 RS4 Saloon, After 10+ years in BMW's including 2 x E92 V8 M3's an E39 M5, and 2 x E46 M3's including the mighty CSL I finally decided to try a different marque.. And after much googling and trawling of Pistonheads I finally came to the conclusion that an RS4 was the beast for me, After much negotiation a deal was done on a saloon car ( I Initially wanted an Avant) but all things considered this car had everything I wanted and I was offered a great PX price on my old car that I could'nt refuse, The 230 mile drive home was superb especially when I discovered that the car has a Miltech Res exhaust on it as I was gonna buy one for it anyway so happy days and a few quid saved.
Just got it back from Unit 20 who gave it a health check and a valve carbon clean and gearbox oil change and the transformation is incredible.. The mid range is now ballistic and even the fuel consumption also seems much better.. So overall Im a very happy bunny and can't wait for the weather to improve to give her a 2 day detail.
Looking forward to some good advice and banter from this forum in the future. :bigwave: :biggrin3:
