Hi ladies and gents,
Frank from essex and have been the happy owner of an RS4 B7 since February. She is daytona grey, 2006 with 42000 miles and just one previous owner.
Completely standard and as I am learning about the car (i like to do my own work) and all i have done so far is serviced it and had the brake discs skimmed with RS29 pagids and braided lines.
Done one trackday at Bedford with her so far... massive amounts of fun. Did find the brakes needed a freshen up though. A genuine case of a car that really hadnt been driven very hard.
Upgrades for teh future... thinking about Milltek non res and possibly a precat delete. Will also go for a stage 2 at MRC at some point but have a healthcheck with them first next friday.

Ha, enjoyable read that FON.
So a little more about me. I had a Mk1 Williams Clio no.125. Great little car and over time I built a turbo engine for it. Ran a sweet 283bhp and 278ft/lb at just 13psi. Never had the chance to wind it up as the muppet that fabricated the exhaust left the actuator c clip off and it ran badly lean and melted the head!

Hi & FON, love little French hot hatches, I had 3 1.9 GTI's awesome cars, had planned a turbo conversion on the last 1 but bought an impreza instead. You must have had mental torque steer with 283 bhp through the front wheels, must have surprised a few traffic light warriors

Re: Newbie
Certainly did and yes fanstatic fun. It was completely sleeper, full interior no cage. The only thing that gave it away were the four pots hiding under those tiny 15" wheels .
Used to drag me all over the place at full chat. Ony ran a 13.5 at Santa Pod on r888s but had a terminal speed of 112. It was basically impossible to stop it spinning before fourth gear.
RS4 is so so so much more of an all rounder car though, I don't feel silly taking it nice places and still know it will fend off most things on track. Clio was straight line with all that power, a blip of the throttle in a corner and it would chronically understeer and just go straight I do miss the obnoxiousness of the turbo though!
