Thanks for the advice, I'll probably be annoying (well I am a newbie) with all the questions; but what viscosity oil and brand do most of you use before I go buy a litre to put in the boot.

Will definitely use the super petrol then; I thought it was madness when they said it.

Sonny,
I'd say I do ok as a soldier and a chef; I have a nice GOC's Commendation from Iraq sat on my wall :bigblink:

Was that your 22 years done then?

5w-30 VW504.00/507.00 (I think, need to check the boot).

I use Tesco Momentum 99ron cos it's cheaper than VPower, car runs lovely on it and you get your Clubcard points.

Thanks guys

What viscosity oil and brand do you guys use so I can but a litre and keep it spare in the boot?

Shagga, that's a very good idea with the fule and reward points; I'll definitely do that over the weekend.

Thank you for the welcome.

My Audi dealer does a 5 litre can for 30 odd quid so that's always in my boot.

Yes it is Edge.

Bloody hell an ex falling plate ( RGJ'S) and a slop jockey !!! :thumb: Looks like Im in good company being an ex wooden top an all !!! Chefs are clearly getting paid to much nowadays!! Takes me back to Belfast days when we let out chef come out on patrol with us and he caught some flack and got a little singed off a petrol bomb during a riot ( or normal Fri night on Kelly's corner) ... He became known as torch from then on!! :D Squaddie sense of humour is like no other!!

Nice wheels mate - but should have got an Avant to get the tea urn in! :)

Thanks for the info guys, I'll get some oil this week. Can only find it for £10 a litre in no matter what size.

There's no spacers on the car from what I can see. Just the normal bells that go with the brakes.

Shagga, the tyres are Accelere, right speed ratings etc.

Lee, thanks for helping me look at the car, came out allright in the end. I'll have to look after it well now.
