RS5 Milltek Exhaust

Hi,

I am new to the forum, so please excuse me if I get anything wrong.

I have had a RS5 since early November 2010, what a great car, except for the exhaust sound..!!

I have a R8, now that sounds fantastic, but the RS5 just does not come close even with the optional sports exhaust.

I have been in talks with Milltek about a new system for my car. They had not developed an exhaust for the car and it was agreed that they used my car as the donor for a new exhaust system.

So last Wednesday I went to Derby and spent some time with them while they developed the exhaust system. Wow what a result, the car now sounds fantastic especially in manual or auto mode.

I have to take it back in 2 weeks time to have them check everything over before they release for sale.

If anyone wants any info please let me know.

Great car and thanks for posting, I bet the RS5 will sound immense with a Milltek. Did they offer you options such as a resonated and a none resonated version? Does the RS5 have valves in the rear back silencers like the RS4?

Nice one! Well done for getting milltek on the job! You'll have to post some pics of the RS5 and R8 together. Also a sound clip of the RS5 would be appreciated if you get chance?
