SAFE4NOW

Post by SAFE4NOW » Tue Nov 02, 2010 2:10 pm

Here is my introduction, this is who I am thread:

My name is Steve, I am an Audiphile. I have owned several Audi's over the past 10 years, my current DD is a 2003 Imola Yellow Rs6, some know it as the " Fast Taxi " as I run the car at weekend DE style events as well as the Texas Mile ( personal best of 170mph ) and other venues.

I am the General Manager of Autoscope Park Cities in Dallas Texas, I also run a local forum North Texas Audi Group ( NTAG for short ) I do not market to forums, but I do offer insite when questions arise and will help fellow forum members as best as possible. Sometimes that just means pointing in the correct direction.

I lead monthly Sunday Morning Drive's locally and a few weekend drives down in the Hill Country, West of Austin Tx. I put together Audi related events ( Iron Man II movie opening ) as well as dinners, tours, etc...

So, thats the shory version of who I am, I hope to add to RS246.com in a positive way.

Steve

Driving at Texas Motor Speedway, coming out of Turn 4 onto the front straight, we're doing close to 157mph... talk about upset. Porsche driver couldn't understand how I was still there:

Lovin' the taxi look Steve. Do you use it on the road and if so do you ever actually get mistaken for a real taxi (or in fact do you actually use it as a taxi :-))

I'm not obsessed by taxi's or owt, just curious!
