AH... perfect..... I have an A3 Tdi too and that has the non bose Concert in it and the volume is totally screwed. The knob adjusts everything else fine (bass fader etc) but the volume only works when you turn it on. If you try and adjust it it either cuts out or goes MEGA loud... I take it this is a common fault then?

Yep.\ It is a common fault. Horrendous the colder it gets. They charged me about £60 from memory.

See as we got so many busted stereo's .. how about setting up a Forum discount ...?

Put my name down, keep em busy for months.... like a little sweat shop... banging out fixed Audi radios... :audibash:

I don't think they need the work. If you get a chance to go down to them, they have stereo's stacked to the ceilings from all over UK. They do all warranty work on most big name stereo's and manufacturer stereo's as well.

The charge is for 1 hours work which is the lowest min rate they charge + component which is dead cheap.

hmm. does it only effect Non Bose Concerts? As Bose set ups have en external amp it wouldnt go through the on board amp. SOOO a potential fix could be using the pre outs from the concert and spending the money on a 4 channel amp instead giving some more kick too???
maybe....thoughts?
