DVB-TV not working Audi Nav Plus B7 A4

I recently bought an RS4 that looks like its had a few radio modifications,
One is a Dension Gateway and the other is a DVB-tv upgrade.

When I switch source to the TV I am unable to select anything. The screen just sits with options to choose the language but no buttons on the stereo have any effect.
The manual is pretty basic and talks about a DiCom 3000 MC modulator with an SC2005 CPU,

Sounds like the DVB tuner is not plumbed into the RNS-E controls so I don't know how they would have controlled it. Do you get a remote control for the tuner? Do you know where the tuner is hidden? You tried googling the models numbers?

Good point Mike, I can't find the tuner(any common hiding places?). It did not come with a remote even though the manual has a picture of one. Strangely enough the manual does not have the model number other than what I listed above.

The SC2005 is the TV decoder chip inside the tuner http://www.digchip.com/datasheets/parts ... SC2005.php

You really need to find the box and see the manufacturers name and part number on it, then Google that to see if there's a downloadable user guide.

A good place to start looking is in the standard place the old analogue tuner used to live. Dave, is the tuner in the same place on the avant as it is in the saloon i.e. left hand side of boot?
