It's ironic that having got rid of the snap bang pops because of European legislation my fuel consumption is lousy compared with my C7 Perf,
I struggle to get 25 mpg and I 'm not ragging it,---I've discovered predictive cruise control -- I regularly got 30mpg + with the C7.
One little snippet,if you switch the wing mirror control knob to the passenger side mirror,if you select reverse the mirror auto adjusts down to view the kerbs, wish I had known this from day 1 !!!!

Travelled up the M6 today at no more than 70 mph due to variable speed limits etc and got 29.7 mpg. Happy with that.

Strange, I find the MPG on these much better than the C7. The little vibration on the pedal does help sometimes highlight how <beep> my driving really is!

I can only wish I was in my old C7 or in a C8 - Managed 34.5mpg on a run in the C7. Around town was 24mpg.

My current average MPG is 14.6!!!!! Even on a run with Miss Daisy in the back, can't get it above 17.5mpg, thats with the A/C off!!

Now on first name terms with the nice ladies in Tesco petrol station :)
