In short yes

I went

c7 perf-> c8 vor -> c8 perf vor

Bizarrely there is also a big difference between the two C8s

Going from 560 c7 to c8 to what would be a difference? I red somewhere that c8 feels slower in performance compared to c7 rs6

C7perf to c8, bit quicker, I thought, certainly more refined. C8 perf a different beast, too quick!

I had a C7 and a C8 black edition (before I got my C8 RS6). Not the same car I know but as stated above the C8 is far more refined.

One of my slight bug bares with the RS6 was that other than the seats and the logo on the steering wheel; there's no difference (internally) from my 2.0l TFSI BE.
